Introducing SmartCare: Now Available to Clients and Their Families

At Personal Caregiving Services, our mission has always been to provide compassionate, dependable, and high quality of care while supporting the families who trust us with the care of their loved ones.

One of the biggest challenges families face isn’t finding someone to care for a loved one – it’s staying connected to that care after they leave. You naturally want to know how Mom’s day is going. Did Dad eat lunch? Has anything changed that should concern you? The more informed families are, the greater their peace of mind.

That’s why Personal Caregiving Services has introduced SmartCare, a secure electronic medical records system that gives authorized family members greater visibility into the care their loved ones receive. They can access caregiver notes, care plans and schedules, and – with permission – even view photos of meaningful activities and special moments. Secure messaging also makes it easier to stay safely and privately connected.

The greatest benefit, however, isn’t convenience; it’s communication. When a caregiver notices a change in a client’s health or behavior, that information can be shared more quickly with the people who need to know. Families and healthcare providers can respond sooner, before a small concern becomes a larger one.

Technology will never replace the personal relationships that define exceptional inhome healthcare. It should strengthen them. When families have a clearer view of their loved one’s care, everyone is better equipped to work together to provide attentive, personalized care every client deserves.

Here’s to better communication and transparency!
